PRESS RELEASE FROM STAFFORDSHIRE POLICE: We received a report of a theft from a stables on the B5030 near Ellastone at around 8.30am today, Wednesday 21 August. Offenders forced entry to the compound then forced entry to a barn and stole a low loader flat trailer from within. The trailer, which was taken between 6.30pm on Tuesday 20 August and 8.30am on Wednesday 21 August, is silver and is about 12 ft long with four wheels. Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area overnight, or who has information on the trailers whereabouts, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 114 of August 21. Alternatively, they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
