PRESS RELEASE In Commemoration of the Second Anniversary of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun Administration, the Governor will answer questions from the people in a live television interview programme, Agbaletu, on the Ogun State Television (OGTV). The programme will come on air between 9pm and 10:30pm tonight. According to a statement by Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Governor Amosun will also address the people in a state broadcast to be aired on both OGTV and OGBC by 7am tomorrow. During the broadcast, the governor will reel out the mid-term report of his administration. While there is no ceremony planned for the anniversary, a work-in-progress Inspection Tour has been scheduled for next week during which stakeholders from the different senatorial districts will join the Governor and top members of the administration to assess the rate of progress on the various development projects being executed by the administration. The inspection tour will commence on June 4 during which the train will be in Ogun West and it will move through Ayetoro, Olodo, Imeko, Ilara, Tompolo, Ijoun, Tata, Egua, Ilaro, Ilo-Awela and Ado Odo. The second leg of the tour will take place in Ogun East on June 5 and will take the team through Isara, Ilishan, Ago Iwoye, Itele, Ijebu Ode, Mobalufon, Oke Ako, Ikenne and Sagamu. The last leg will take place in Ogun Central on June 6 and will move across Mowe, Ibafo, Magboro, Isheri and Abeokuta. The stakeholders are to wait for the governor and his team in their respective communities from where they will all move to project sites. The expected stakeholders include traditional rulers, elders, youths, market women/men, members of CDA’s/Co-operative Societies, ACOMORAN, AMORAN, NATA, NURTW, RTEA, butchers, farmers, political groups, trade associations and professional groups and well as the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) among others.
