PRESS RELEASE Islamabad: October 22, 2014 Minister of State Barrister Usman Ibrahim of Capital Administration & Development Division attended a “Hiring Cheque Distribution ceremony” as Chief Guest at IMCB F8/4 today. Finally the day of deliverance has come for the employees of schools/colleges and I am extremely happy to be a part of it, said the Minister of State while distributing the cheques to the Principals of the colleges. He congratulated the team of FDE and Central Academic Staff Association on getting this issue of hiring resolved. He took credit of moving the summary to the Prime Minister for the increase in the house rent when he was the housing and works’ minister, and due to which the house rent has been increased upto 35% for the federal government employees. Talking about other issues of the employees, like the issue of new model schools in every sector of the Capital, Daily wagers issue, government accommodation for teachers, and change of nomenclature of junior teachers, he said that we are working on these issues and they would be resolved soon as well. Further he added that the issues of PIERA would also be resolved soon as they are also playing a very important part to educate our future generation. Minister of State emphasized upon the importance of good team work, consistency, honest and dedication of all the team members towards a common goal and said that he has got a very good team in CADD to work with. He specially admired the efforts of Additional Secretary CADD to release Rs. 176 Million for the salary of daily wagers. In the end, he told that he has been made in charge of the Boy Scouts in Islamabad and is very happy to see well trained boy scouts in IMCB F8/4. Function was also attended by the Additional Secretary CADD and Director Model Schools (Male) and the Principals of all the model colleges.
