PRESS RELEASE January, 13 2014 THE FIRST LADY’S TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY AT DZALANYAMA FOREST RESERVE AND KATETE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN LILONGWE State House wishes to inform Malawians that Her Excellency Madam Gertrude Mutharika, the First Lady of the Republic of Malawi will tomorrow, Wednesday 14 January, 2014 conduct a tree planting activity at Dzalanyama Forest Reserve and Katete Primary School in Lilongwe. This follows the launch of the tree planting season in the country and it is part of the First Lady’s Beautify Malawi (BEAM) Trust efforts to replenish the country’s lost vegetation. During this activity the First Lady will be in the company of the visiting renowned actress, model and Humanitarian Ambassador for the EU who is also the Honourary Consul for Malawi in Monaco, Tasha de Vasconcelos.
