PRESS RELEASE January 21, 2014 ON January 17, 2014, Carlos Demetrius Cannon, 45, of Cambridge, MD was arrested by the Maryland State Police on a warrant from the Easton Police Department. Cannon was charged in connection with the theft of a television from Wal-Mart. On January 18, 2014, Kendall Noel Barnes, 19, of Henderson, MD was charged on a criminal citation with possession of marijuana. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on Ocean Gateway and Goldsborough Street. A K-9 scanned the vehicle and marijuana was found on Barnes. She was released after signing the citation. On January 17, 2014, Justin Roy Guthrie, 28, of Fairchance, PA was charged on a criminal citation with theft under $100. Officers responded to Wal-Mart for a shoplifting where Guthrie was found with unpaid merchandise concealed on his person. He was released after signing the citation. On January 17, 2014, LaQuan Trafel Williams, 23, of Cambridge, MD was charged on a criminal summons with two counts of theft under $1000, two counts of theft under $100 and theft scheme under $1000. Williams is accused of stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart on several occasions between 08/22/13 and 09/05/13. Packaging was destroyed on at least two of those occasions.
