PRESS RELEASE ON THE BOOK YOU NEED TO READ This press release is particularly written for Jehovahs Witnesses world-wide: TEXT FOR PHOTOS: 1) Do not fear for Armageddon every time you experience a thunderstorm. 2) C.T. THINGS YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN My book, Judgment Day Must Wait, (JDMW) was released on YBK Publishers, New York, in 2013. With this book, I have dug exciting things up from the past, things you should have known, but which Watchtower never informed you about. For example the story of Maria Russell’s rebellion against her husband, Charles Taze Russell (CTR), reveals previously unknown details of the couple’s conflict. Contemporary Bible Students considered before 1914-1916 CTR as the faithful and wise servant in Matt. 24:45 (RSV). He enjoyed great respect, but after his death in 1916 he was pushed out into the cold of the next president, J. F. Rutherford. READ ABOUT THE COUP IN 1917: Upon Russell’s death in 1916, “Judge” J. F. Rutherford (JFR) seized control of the founder’s companies and secured for himself the life-long position as the president for WTBS. Critics called JFR’s reorganization “Rutherfordism.” By 1931, 70 percent of the original Bible Students had left the organization. JDMW provides full details of JFR’s seizure of power and his subsequent perversion of the faith. This part of the book contains astonishing details (if I must say it myself!). THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE: Following the 1914 failure, when Judgment Day did not come, JFR and his successors kept setting other dates for the world’s destruction: 1925, 1954 and 1975; and now, 2034 lurks on the horizon (WT, Dec. 15, 2003). In The Watchtower of May 1, 2014, ridiculed the Watchtower leaders the notorious doomsday prophet, Harold Camping, implied that that kind of doomsday madness was WTBS ceased to trumpet: Religious leaders sometimes predict tragic worldwide events (...) Needless to say, the world is still here. * It provokes me really, that you have to read that kind of stuff in the WT, when you remember 1914 (worlds end), 1925 (worlds end), 1954 (worlds end hinted) and 1975 (worlds end more than hinted!). Does not it seem a bit hypocritical, to say the least? However, what will Watchtower do without this “doomsday machine,” which is the heart of the machine? The theme of the world’s end continues to be the pattern and the method needed to keep the movement going and growing. So I guess that WTBS soon again will turn to the doomsday drums. The signss fulfillment in our time is still the cornerstone of WTBSs teaching building. It is addressed in chapter 39 of my book, JDMW, where I try to prove that WTBS interpretations are -- well, let me put it bluntly: downright swindle. REVIEWS ON AMAZON: The former Witness, Dave Gracey, USA, writes on Amazon May 15, 2014: “If I had this book available to me years ago my entire life would have been very different.” Ex-JW Suzanne Gribble, USA, writes July 25, 2014 on Amazon: “As a former 35-year member, I thought I had as thorough a perspective as possible of the religion spawned by the hostile corporate takeover of a religious publishing house. I’m so glad I decided to get this book.” SCAREMONGERING My examination of the Watchtowers interpretation of the signs in Matt. 24 proves that you do not need to fear anything. Watchtowers scaremongering is just an expression of deception, supported by Bible verses abused to the extreme! They look at you just like a robot, they can program! Your real problem is perhaps what happens if you leave the JW, which is your social home right now! You will perhaps lose your social circle and social relations? Well tell them what you think -- if you dare! However, Be not afraid! If they will not listen to you or talk with you about your critical thoughts, and they will report you to the elders (like in GDR before 1989), then you know they are not your true friends. You can do without them. But do it slowly and imperceptibly. Then WTBSs spying elders will not observe your absence right away. Your real friends today are on the other hand all the former Witnesses who exist around the world. They will help you in the future, depending, of course, on your own efforts and openness. But the key is that you help yourself -- and for Gods sake remains critical! Therefore I wrote JDMW, which is a help in your endeavor. JDMW will help answering most of your questions. After reading my book, you are -- I suppose -- freed from the dark thunder clouds and heavy thoughts that enslave you and create your constant fear that what Watchtower proclaims, may still be true. It is not! IT IS NOT!!! Armageddon is just a nightmare which unscrupulous religious fanatics have used since the 1870s to keep you as a slave, whose job just is is to sell their publications. The only thing that really interests them is to maintain and expand their organization. You are just free labor to ensure the organizations survival.
