PRESS RELEASE: On September 3 at approximately 7:15 p.m. Farmington police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Sycamore Street in reference to a body. Investigation revealed 22-year Seth Stallings had suffered from a single gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries. Police have identified the suspect as 17-year-old Rafael Velasquez. A warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of first degree murder, tampering with evidence and larceny of a firearm. Police have not yet apprehended Velasquez and are requesting that anyone with information of his whereabouts contact the detective tip line at (505) 599-1068. No further information is available at this time.
