PRESS RELEASE The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office is still seeking assistance regarding an armed robbery that took place November 11, 2014 at approximately 6:40 p.m. at Speedy Bee’s on Highway 10 in Leesville. Surveillance images show a white male approximately 6’0” tall and a black male approximately 5’10” tall arrive at the location on foot. Both subjects were dressed in dark clothing, shoes, skull caps, gloves, and dark bandanas covering the lower part of their faces. The subjects were each armed with handguns which they brandished in plain view. The subjects came into contact with the store clerk and forced the clerk to the area behind the counter where they ultimately removed money from the register. The subjects fled on foot in the area. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the subjects can contact the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-238-1311 / 337-238-7248 or Crime Stoppers at 337-239-2233. You do not have to give your name a code number will be assigned to you. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $ 1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and the conviction of these suspects. ** These photographs of one of the suspects are from an alternate location on the night of the incident **
