“PRESS RELEASE UPDATE” FROM: Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve DATE: Thursday, December 18, 2014 RE: Armed Burglary Suspects Arrested in Marinette County Late Wednesday, December 17, 2014 Arrested after the foot pursuit was the driver of the fleeing vehicle Derrick Whitmore and Christopher Whitmore. Also arrested in this investigation were Harley Whitmore and Kendra Krueger. Investigation at this point we believe Harley was also involved in the burglaries in our county with Derrick and Christopher Whitmore, but using a second vehicle. Krueger is lodged in jail on aiding a felon as we believe she came to assist the Whitmore’s flee the area when she and Harley were spotted together at a gas station in Crivitz. At the present time this investigation is ongoing and fluid as additional burglaries are being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and other agencies that we believe are all connected to these suspects. Sheriff Sauve would like to thank the many agencies and officers that came to our assistance on this case: Niagara Police, Crivitz Police, Wisconsin State Patrol, Oconto County Sheriff, Marinette Police, Michigan State Police, Green Bay Police/Brown County Sheriff Bearcat Armored Unit, Air Support from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and several of the area fire departments who assisted with detouring traffic. Sheriff Sauve will be available at 2:00 p.m. today, December 18th to answer additional questions from the news media at the Marinette County Law Enforcement Center, 2161 University Drive, Marinette, WI 54143.
