PRESS RELEASE Yamhill County Cultural Coalition 2014-5 Grant Application Workshops Two dates August, September WHERE: Two locations in Yamhill County WHY: YCCC announces the 2014-15 grant application period to inform individuals and organizations about the grant process as well as answer questions. It is now time to develop a project and submit an application prior to the September 30th deadline. Two workshops will be offered within the county in August and September to help those who may be considering applying for a grant. Saturday, August 23, 2014, 10 a.m. Amity Fire Station, 700 South Trade Street, Amity Wednesday, September 3rd 7:00, Yamhill Fire Station Meeting Room, 275, West 2nd Street (corner of 2nd and Olive Street), Yamhill YCCC offers competitive matching grant awards up to $2,500 with YCCC funding up to 50% of a project’s cost. Grant submissions are encouraged from new applicants and YCCC looks for variety and innovation in cultural opportunities. Applicants are eligible to apply from the communities of Amity, Carlton, Dayton, Dundee, Lafayette, McMinnville, Newberg, Sheridan, Willamina and Yamhill. YCCC receives funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust to re-grant to local organizations to provide cultural activities and events.
