PRESS RELEASE Youth role important to ensure effective policing ISLAMABAD, January 29: Islamabad Police is endeavoring best to ensure protection to the lives and property of citizen and involvement of youth is crucial to achieve the desired targets of friendly policing with high cooperative attitude towards resolving the public problems. It was stated by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Sikandar Hayat at the concluding ceremony of `Youth Training Session’ held under supervision of President National Youth Assembly Hanan Ali Abbassi here at Police Line Headquarters. The IGP said Islamabad police is taking all possible steps to ensure friendly policing but role of youth is important to get this objective. He lauded the efforts of National Youth Assembly for training of future leaders and assured representatives of youth of full cooperation of police department. AIG (operations) Sultan Azam Temuri said that youth are national assets and we want to see them as peace ambassadors. President National Youth Assembly also lauded the efforts of Islamabad police in ensuring peace and assured full cooperation from their side.
