PRESS RELEASE-from the Molalla Police Department On 09/04/14 the Molalla Police Department was made aware of an out of state Facebook posting listing two missing girls last seen in the Molalla Oregon area. The posting stated a Ms. Ash had abducted her two daughters from out of state and relocated to Molalla Oregon. The Molalla Police Department initiated an investigation and has located Ms. Ash and her daughters in Molalla. Officers from the Molalla Police Department interviewed Ms. Ash and checked the welfare of the two children. The Molalla Police Department determined that this is an ongoing civil child custody dispute and not an abduction. The Molalla Police Department never authorized the flyer that is circulating on Facebook and other social media websites.
