In addition he has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a beach in Italy named after him. At the 2010 World Music Awards Andrea Bocelli was recognized as the most popular classical music performer on the planet. His 1997 album “Romanza” sold more than 20 million copies – this makes it the most popular Italian record of all time. The album “Sacred Arias” sold 5 million copies and is the most popular classical music album in history. The voice of this music genius is recognizable in all corners of the world. The owner of this exceptional voice doesn’t perform many concerts and usually his concerts take place in stadiums and large venues. The performance of Andrea Bocelli at the beginning of next year is a rare opportunity to hear this artist in Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena.
