PRODUCT UPDATES Bulk UNFI no longer carries Pecan Pieces. Will wait until cooler weather to order from Mascot Pecan Shelling Company, because Mascot only ships by UPS (hot UPS truck, hot UPS warehouse). NEW PRODUCTS: Earthworks, food grade, Diatomaceous Dust is back on the shelf. Eat Clean Organic Vegan Whole Food Bars: on the shelf with other Trace Mineral products, by the fridge with the eggs. ON SALE: Personal care items on the shelves on sale from Aubrey Organics & Select Nutrition (look for red sales price stickers) Note: In Store Sales items change daily; So shop often and keep checking on them. UNFI: The next delivery is Thursday, July 31st. The next order deadline is Tuesday, August 5th at 2:00pm for delivery on Thursday, August 14th. PRODUCE: The next produce delivery will be on Wednesday, August 6th, and available Thursday, August 7th. We have changed to our summer delivery schedule (every 4 weeks). Local Produce Now available: Local peaches from Happy Cow, Swiss chard, blackberries, plum tomatoes & a variety of peppers (sweet, jalapeno, etc.) BREAD: No Samis Bread order this week. DIMPFLMEIER RYE: We will now be taking orders for Dimpflmeier Rye bread order for August. It is double wrapped and inner sealed so keeps well for a long time in the freezer. If we do not meet our minimum of 40 loaves then the order will be pushed forward 2 more weeks. TO ORDER Dimpflmeier Bread: Check Black Notebooks on Counter under the D for Dimpflmeier. The order sheets are in there. Available at a reduced rate is the sampler box which is a variety of 10, 1 pound loaves. FRONTIER: The current order will be available on July 29th. There are no new order deadlines right now. There are several medicinal herbs in the discount/sales section. HAPPY COW: When placing orders you must place your order before Monday. You can call in your order and leave a message. Messages are checked early Monday morning before the order goes in. We received our order of local milk and have a good supply. GLUTEN FREE: Check the discounted rack for Gluten Free products. Please provide GF product suggestions for what you would like to see on the shelf to Lynn Burkett at [email protected]. Always looking for good suggestions for new gluten free products. EGGS: Local eggs are frequently out of stock right now due to the hotter weather. Call for availability.
