PROFESSIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE IN PORT VILA: On Friday nite, a ni-Van resident living next to me at Nambatu collapsed due to elevated level of HBP. We made an emergency call to Pro-Medic on 2 55 66 and within 5 minutes of the call, a Pro Medic ambulance arrived. The patient was treated by Vanuatus first ever qualified Paramedic named Judy Willie. Within another 10 minutes, a second ambulance arrived on the scene to assist Ms Willie. The patient was soon stabalized and recovered well from the seisure, which if not for the timely arrival of these paramedics, it could have been vatal. Its a comfort to know that Port Vila now has a very professional and reliable ambulance service provided through this Charitable organization. I understand Pro Medics now also run the ambulance service of the Vila Central Hospital in Port Vila.
