PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING: From the time I was probably nine to twelve years old about once a month my Daddy would take me to the Stockyard Coliseum in Oklahoma City to watch the real wrestling matches! With colorful characters such as Irish Mike Clancy, Bolo, Skandar Akbar, it was great entertainment! I always looked forward to going to Cattlemans Steak House afterwards for a hamburger! Whether its PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING or high school or collegiate, even CHAMPION wrestlers AT TIMES, will have their opponents on top of them! Do you think they just give up when this happens or feel bad about themselves because maybe they made an incorrect move or they didnt do a certain technique as good as they could have? NO, they just keep on wrestling until ULTIMATELY they get on top of their opponent! One, word picture were given of the Christian life is that of a wrestling match! In fact your Daddy sees you as MORE than a conqueror! Therefore, if youre experiencing the enemy on top of you, trying to pin you down..... keep wrestling! You ARE a CHAMPION WRESTLER who WILL get back on top of your opponent if you dont quit! REMEMBER: the One who lives in YOU is bigger and stronger than the one who only temporarily has you pinned down! GUILT NOT, your Daddy also knows that its all part of the wrestling match of the Christian life and sometimes it just happens! Arent we GLAD Hes got us covered!
