INDEED, WHO IS PASTOR PROFESSOR OLUYEMI OLULEKE OSINBAJO? He is a pastor at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations in Banana Island, which is a Redeemed Christian Church of God Parish. The esteemed lawyer was born on March 8th 1957 at Creek Hospital, Lagos, is a native of Ikenne, Ogun State in the South-West. Oluyemi, is a professor of Evidence, and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He is married to Oludolapo Osinbajo — a granddaughter of the late sage, First Premier of the Western Region, a foremost writer-cum-philanthropist and Yoruba politician, Chief Obafemi Awolowo. She is the daughter of late Otunba Ayodele Soyode, one of the children of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and they have three Children. 1. Professor Osinbajo is the Ethics Adviser to the Advisory Board of the African Development Bank 2. He is also a director of Citibank (non-executive) 3. He has served in various capacities in the United Nations. 4. He is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) 5. He is Senior Partner in Simmons-Cooper Partners law firm. 6. He is also a professor of law, and was HOD of Public Law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) [1997-1999] 7. Professor Osinajo has written and co-authored (and edited) several books and publications. 8. He obtained his LLB degree at the University of Lagos and his LLM at the London School of Economics and Political Science. 9. He served as the Special Adviser to the Attorney General of Nigeria from 1988 to 1992. 10. In 1999, he became the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos state. He was reappointed for a second term in 2003. 11. In this time, he began the Lagos State justice reform project, which featured the establishment of the Directorate for Citizens Rights (DCR) (which gave free legal services and legal representations to Lagos states less-privileged.) 12. Professor Yemi has 31 years of litigation experience including significant trial and appellate work.
