PROFILE OF GALLANDEER RIDGE MATISSE (at Halles request! LOL) Gallandeer Ridge Matisse is a pale buckskin 15/16ths American Mini horse, currently 18 months old and appx 30 inches tall. Matisse is by imported American Mini pinto stallion, HCM Bucks Rembrandt, a son of Little Kings Almighty Buck. Matisses dam is a smokey black mare, Gallandeer Ridge Perspehone, a 7/8ths American mare by imported gold leopard stallion, Lucky Four Spotted Gold. Matisse was prepped and shown at his first show by Ron Males, at the NSW Foal Show. Purchased by us in October 2013, as a yearling, Matisse has a cheeky, quite hot personality and outstanding movement. He floats across the ground like a deer in trot. He has been a challenge for Halle, with them both being young and having a low tolerance threshold (lol). Despite the challenges he has proved an excellent learning curve for Halle. He has only been shown only 4 times - MHAA State Show, Castle Hill Show, and Camden Show (as well as the Foal show). He will be prepped and handled by Burghley Park Rosie Gardiner in some classes at the upcoming MHAA National Show.
