PROGRAM SUGGESTION An information school, i-School is dedicated to advancing the information field. It is committed to understanding the role of information in nature and human endeavors. Name of Program : i-1MSS (1 Malaysia School of Information Studies) Target Group : High School Students (Form1 – Form5) Implementation Measures : i. Launch electronic devices such as tablets which are approved by the Ministry of Education. ii. The costing should be under RM500 as to enable all the students within the country to obtain them regardless their financial background. The government should provide some financial assistance to those students who have difficulties in buying the tablets. iii. The tablets should be created in a way that it has a large memory to store files and information and solar chargeable. They should also work without the need for internet and the battery lasts for a very long time. iv. The tablets should be tightly locked as to prevent the students from adding or installing any unwanted applications and software and is used purely for educational purposes. v. The tablets should cover the entire high school syllabus from Form1 to Form5 and all lessons are to be translated into both Malay and English languages in order to cater for more students, especially in the rural areas. vi. It should be pre-loaded with all learning materials which include comprehensive lesson plans and materials for every school day.
