PROGRESS REPORT ALL POSITIVE NEWS, MEDIA, MINISTERS & MEETINGS Hi Everyone, thank you for the opportunity for open discussion last night. As there are so many Timbercorp Victims who prefer email I will be sending emails out this morning with this same information post. A recap of the 5 items of progress 1 Members of the Federal Government are involved in supporting DJ PARTNERS to assist you. We have given details of who they are. I know this was a huge concern for many and, DONE! 2 We have dialogue with the Media but this is to be used to support a strategic outcome, not negativity. I am meeting on Thursday for an interview, the first of several we have in place. This date may be moved forward as a result of conflicting meetings 3 M&Ks position and the mutual clients we wish to support. M&K are critical for the 2008 group and we will do what is necessary to procure an outcome when working with Ron Willemsen from M & K 4 The strategy which is covered off in broader terms with some technical components. We must ensure we provide you the client, the Timbercorp Victims with all necessary detail but I guess we need to be mindful of the other players who may try and steal or butcher our structure and cause damage. So they key is speed 5 Questions. I was fairly impressed with the questions last night. As a group, you are asking the right questions and this knowledge is very powerful. I think that one of the pertinent questions was about a cut-off date. It does stem from a post I put up last week but something like 25 individuals have raised with my staff that they have taken a calculated risk to let DJ Partners fix this up and get the result. Is it fair that other Victims only get involved when they see movement such as now with media, Ministers and Senators and next, the creditors? With exception to the Victims who are doing it tough in hospital or are in remote locations, on holidays etc., Monday 28th July, 1 week from today we will close off the opportunity for new Timbercorp clients. If you have the information and are just not sure, call the office before this date and speak with the team or me personally. In fairness to the clients who have joined, I will take this advice on board and enforce it. Please remember that every dollar over our engagement fee is your property and this money will be used for your purpose. It could be the first payment to the bank or used for the administrators costs in structuring and documenting the deal. It is no longer relevant as to how many Timbercorp Victims join as the money is yours. I must stress this point. Every $350 payment above our engagement fee is your property. We do not own it. Please get your paperwork in ASAP as the data must be categorized into the 6 groups and it does take time. There was a comment that we should embrace the other groups and that Timbercorp Victims should cease negative discussions. I would like to throw my 2 cents in if I may. DJ Partners has repeatedly undertaken steps to invite all parties in and to join. No one has been isolated and all Victims are 100% welcome. That offer remains open. Also, the discussion on the facebook page is encouraging as new concerns are raised. Different views are welcomed. I don’t mind it so long as we are progressing whilst discussions take place. And lastly, we have made significant website upgrades for Timbercorp Victims. We have hired 3 additional staff for data processing and telephone calls so we will have confirmation of receipt of documentation and payments etc. Apologies for being a few days behind. It has been difficult to keep up with volumes.
