You remember our list? and how it is in no specific order? Now, the 26 years old spoken word poet is one who deserves to be on it and why? She started her career in spoken word poetry at age fourteen, dauntless in a room filled with the grey-haired and elite. having successfully carved a niche around the poetry sphere, she makes it believable that spoken word doesnt necessarily have to be aggressive and imposing if it wasnt your style and youd still arrest rapt attention from your listeners. She believes in the use of the artistic tool for educational, inspirational and equally entertaining purposes. turning poetry into a bowl of homemade sweet pastries, made out of delicate use of brilliant poetic words to convey her message in the most cute presentation you can have. She attended Brown university and is the co-founder of Project VOICE. an organisation founded in 2006, with her partner Phil Kay dedicated to using poetry to educate and entertain.
