PROOFS OF THE RESURRECTION #PortraitsofChrist I am an Easter believer, because I believe in the Foundation of Truth--The Bible! Are there any other proofs of the resurrection besides the Bible? For me personally, I dont need any others, but to answer the question --YES! There are other proofs. Primarily, the Resurrection is a matter of Faith and Fact! The Bible is a valid record/source for research for those who need it. But, the Bible is not the only source citing the Resurrection as a valid event. This event was recorded in other Extra-biblical literature. Therefore, the Resurrection of Christ can be proven outside of using the Gospel writings. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the central belief on which the Christian faith is founded. Yet, many Christians are unsure how to respond to questions about the historical record of the risen Christ. As a believer, I believe by faith that Christ did get up from the grave. Secular critics of Christianity use many means to try to discredit this miraculous event. But, the fact remains that many people witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Secondly, He was observed being buried in the tomb. Thirdly, the tomb was found empty. Fourthly, the Resurrection was witnessed. Fifthly, He appeared to His disciples for many days after and showed His wounds. What more proof should one need than this. JESUS IS THE CORE--THE CENTER OF OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH AND BELIEF!
