You have done a great thing to remember your man and woman of God in prayer. Every man and woman of God is thankful because of your prayers. Hallelujah. Glory be to Jesus Christ. The Lord is good, all the time. Sit down but ne BIBLE READING REFERENCE: 2 Samuel 20:14-22 SERMON: EXPOSING THE HIDDEN ENEMY In life it is a normal thing to have enemies. If you do not have an enemy, you are not making a mark. It is always a normal thing to have enemies. The Bible says He will prepare a table for you before your enemies. The more the enemies, the bigger the table. I do not want a coffee table. It is important that we have enemies, they help us in our testimony. There is nothing new about our enemies, they help us with our testimonies. Our enemies, help publicize us. They help extend your testimony. Let the enemies come but a dangerous thing is a hidden enemy. A hidden enemy is dangerous thing. It is one who you do not expect is dangerous. To day we want to expose every hidden enemy in your life. Sheba had done an abomination against King David. King David said, should we allow Sheba to do what Absalom did. He sent Joab to go and collect Sheba. They went to the City and began to hit the walls and began to destroy the fortifications of the city. City is not a location. A wise woman convinced Joab to spare the city and negotiated for its safety by sacrificing the head of Sheba that Joab required. The hidden enemy was exposed. Immediately the head of Sheba was thrown over the wall of the city…the city was spared. Because of one man in your family, all the women in your family are not married. Because of one man, you went to school and your PHDs mean nothing! Royalty was about to be burnt to the ground because of one man. Am I talking to somebody here? Handing over Sheba, caused the army of Joab to retreat. Innocent people were going to die that day because of one man. With a promise, a wise woman delivered the hidden enemy. Today we came to expose the enemy for who he is. Somebody took an oath to destroy you. A hidden enemy will keep you on your toes. You are never at peace because you don’t know where your attack is coming from. A hidden enemy knows your weakness and strength. Hidden enemies inflict the most damage than a public enemy. How To Know and Defeat Your Hidden Enemy.... 1) Acquire wisdom about addressing your situation. It is one thing to acquire knowledge and its another to acquire wisdom. 2) Expose the enemy by knowing your history. You will be able to trace the root cause of the problem. 3) Address the situation, address the root cause of the situation and not its branches. Glory to God for this Word.
