PROPHETIC X-RAY 2014 2014, MY YEAR OF DIVINE FAVOR PSALMS 102:13 “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her – the appointed time has come” Ps 102:13. 2014 is the 14th year of this century and it is uniquely very important. Let me begin by setting the prophetic parameter upon which the grace that this year carries is anchored. Hear the prophetic calculation of the genealogical arrangement of God’s covenant people in Matt 1:17 “So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.” From the time of the global emancipatory covenant God made with Abraham till the timeless covenant of redemption enacted in Christ, human generations are divided into 3 generations of fourteen each. 14 therefore becomes the demacatory number prophetically set to evaluate and explain the dealings of God with humanity. As we therefore enter into the 14th year of this century, a landmark prophetic arrangement is set up as divine landmark that God’s people will enjoy. There shall be a total turn around this year for God’s people that shall be instituted by God’s specially released anointing of FAVOR. In Psalms 89, where the recount of the first generational, prophetic turnaround was established in the days of David, the prophetic and covenant provisions that established the turnaround was captured with strong words of hope and favor vs. 17-37 “For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted. 18 For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. 19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. 20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: 21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. 22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. 23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. 24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. 25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. 26He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. 28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. 29 His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven. 30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; 31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; 32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. 33 Nevertheless my loving kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. 34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. 35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. 36 His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me. 37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. As well captured in Psalms 102:13, the time for Zion’s favor has come. God will arise with compassion and with favor visit His people. For an all-round enjoyment of this provision of favor, the people of God must have some basic understanding of how divine favor operates. v Timing is a crucial element of favor manifestation. There is time for everything under the heaven. 2014 is a special year in which God says He will deal with His people with favor and mercy. Your season to be favored is therefore now. Those who have the understanding of God’s timing will know that it’s time for Zion (them) to be favored and so they are keying into the move of divine favor already. v The key of Wisdom – Prov 8:35 “For the one who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.” To get favor get wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing and living with wisdom, you will attract favor. v The key of goodness – Prov 11:27 “ The one who searches for what is good finds favor, but if someone looks for trouble, it will come to him”. Prov 12:2 “The good obtain favor from the Lord but He condemns a man who schemes.” Focus your life’s quest on what is good and not only that you search for what is good but be good yourself and you will obtain favor. v The key of Mercy and Truth – Prov 3:3-4 “Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.” Developing understanding spirit, standing for and by the truth, being loyal and showing mercy and compassion to others will help you obtain favor with God and man. v The Key to Righteousness – As righteousness exalts a nation so it does the people. It is required of us that we should practice righteousness for in it is favour manifested. Prov. 19:9 “Fools make a mock of sin: but among the righteous there is favour.” When we graciously key into the divine supply of favour through the aforementioned 5 keys then we shall see full manifestation of favour clearly made manifest in our lives in these various dimensions. 1. It will give us the needed DEFENCE – Ps 5:12 “For thou Lord will bless the righteous; with favour will thou compass him as with a shield.” 2. HOPE and LIFE is restored through divine favour – Ps. 30:5 “For his anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy commeth in the morning.” 3. STABILITY is given to our cause by favour – Ps. 30:7 “Lord by Thy favour Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong…” 4. WE POSSES OUR POSSESIONS – Ps. 44:3 “…but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.” 5. EXALTATION and PROMOTION comes only through divine favour – Ps. 89:17 “For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.” 6. Favour will give you VICTORY over all your enemies – Ps. 44:11 “Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.” 7. Divine CONNECTION is gotten through divine favour – Isa 60:10 “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.” NAVIGATING PRAYERS I. Thank you Lord for seeing me through the year 2013 together with my family II. I celebrate you for the release of bounty this past year III. Thank you for crossing me over to the year 2014 IV. I connect myself, family, church and nation to the divine agenda and the prophetic package for this year 2014 V. I disconnect myself family and nature from every negative hang over and carry over that may want to reduce, retard or destroy me this year. VI. I receive an opened heaven for myself, family, church and nation and I command rain of blessings, favour and mercy in Jesus name VII. By favour I receive divine defence, security and full insurance for myself, family, church and nation. VIII. My hope and life is rested by the unction of divine favour which I receive as I enter 2014 and even beyond IX. I receive divine stability and stay for all I have and all my ventures, both physically and spiritually X. Oh Lord! Let my horn be exalted like that of the unicorn and let me experience all-round promotion and enlargement XI. By divine favour I posses all my possessions in this year and even beyond XII. I overtake, overpower and conquer every enemy of my soul, business and family XIII. I receive divine connection even in high places XIV. I connect myself with extra-ordinary support in Jesus might name. AMEN
