Ms. Lindsey will share her insights on leading through change and the relevance of Dr. King’s life, legacy and lessons in our global society. Special Guest Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe, CNN 2007 Hero and recipient of the 2013 Doctorate of Humane Letters at the DePaul ceremony in Kenya, will join us. Sister Nyirumbe, a Ugandan educator who empowers women and girls who survived brutality at the hands of rebels, is the subject of Sewing Hope, a book and documentary film being shown at DePaul on February 19. This title of this event has been updated and this event is part of the Sankofa 40 Years of Blackness at SNL theme for the year.
