PROTECT THAT CREEK. Today we cast our final vote for the new plan for development in the Ten Mile Creek watershed. Thank you to one of our leading environmental advocacy organizations, the Montgomery Countryside Alliance for recognizing how my work, along with Councilmembers Berliner and Elrich, demonstrated early and sustained leadership during committee and council deliberations that ultimately produced unanimous agreement on an approach that is good for Clarksburg, the county, and the region. I know that residents of our county will benefit from this decision for generations to come. This is a job well done on the most important environmental issue that the County Council has taken up in years!
