PROTECT YOUR FAITH FROM FALSE DOCTRINES Well, there was a knock on my door just now. I opened it to find a Jehovah Witness who wanted to share his pamphlet. Right away, I told him an am a Spirit filled Christian and already know who God is. He said, Im glad to meet a person who is into spiritual things. I said politely and gracefully, Im not into spiritual things. There is a lot of spiritual things that are wrong, like New Age and religions that claim to be spiritual but deny the POWER of GOD. Including your religion. I dont believe in the Jehovah Witness doctrine as you believe Jesus was nothing more than a mere man, or a prophet. Yet, I KNOW that JESUS is the SON of God, that JESUS IS GOD, and NOTHING is going to sway me from my knowledge of Him I spend a LOT of time in my bible and prayer and I LOVE JESUS. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of CHRIST. This man didnt want to talk to me anymore after discovering that I was thrilled to proclaim who JESUS is. Why? Because his spirit did not bear witness with the Spirit of the LIVING GOD that lives inside of me. We have to preach Jesus in a loving way to ALL people. While doing so, we MUST PROTECT our minds and not allow a person of false religion a foothold in our door, to spill their misguided spiritual GARBAGE into your life. AVOID THEM - but be do so with the grace of JESUS. The bible is CLEAR on how we are to BEWARE those with false religions and to AVOID them.... In Colossians 2:8 Paul warned, Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15) Now some might rebuke me saying I needed to argue my faith in JESUS to this man to help him come to Jesus. But that is NOT biblical. And to do so would disobey what we are taught in the bible and endanger my mind. We are taught to AVOID them. Romans 16:17 ESV / 22 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. We are to keep our minds in the doctrine of CHRIST. And THIS is why we have Holy Ghost filled pastors and leadership that teach us CHRIST and HIS WAY. Those leaders of God are the ones we allow in our home, that we open our heart and mind to. Those leaders who have proved to know and FOLLOW God in truth and spirit. Those leaders who are responsible for our growth and guidance in Christ. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. (2 John 9) ONLY ALLOW TRUTH AND LIFE into your home, heart, and conversation - not false religion. Take a stand for JESUS and be ready in season and out of season. If somebody brings false religion to your door - quickly stop them and tell them about the GOD YOU SERVE without shame or hesitation. End that conversation quickly. Unless you KNOW the LORD is directing you otherwise, then follow Romans 16:17 and AVOID THEM. This girls GOD - the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD - has got the end game all planned out. I will not invite ANYTHING or ANYONE into my home that has power to sway me from my JESUS. But I will take my JESUS to the streets and proclaim him loud and clear any day of the week.
