PROTOTOKOS He is the image of the the invisible God, the firstborn (prototokos) over all creation. Colossians 1:15 NIV We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see Gods original purpose in everything created. MSG Bible πρωτότοκος: Prototokos means pre-eminent; first in time; the first among others who will follow. Jesus Christ is the pattern or model son - He is the Prototype so to speak. When we believe on Him and are born of the Spirit by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God, we identify with His death on the cross, His burial, resurrection, ascension, and enthronement. And one day when we leave this earth behind, we will receive a glorified body just like His. What an incredible work of salvation He has done for us that we would be given the power and right to become sons of God for eternity!
