PROUD PROUD PROUD father moment!!! :) yet a bit worried :/ Long story short: My daughter, Aleyah, wanted to try out for her High School Football team (Boys) Junior Varsity “Hercules Titans” I said, “I don’t know…..:/ umm, I’ll have to think about it, BUT if you can make it through Summer football camp/HELL week & if the coach thinks you deserve to be on the team, without hurting or slowing the team down, I’ll support you 100%.” (Honestly, I thought she wouldn’t last 3wks from conditioning, running, weights, tackling drills, etc… & thinking she might just give up or not be interested because it would be too hard & to ALSO average a 3.5 gpa or greater) Now look what she’s done… She made the team as 2nd string QUARTERBACK & plays Safety when needed! She is also accepted into Honor English class & Pre Calculus as well! So freakin’ proud of her! but please pray for my baby girls safety. My emotions are going to be a mess during gametime! Her first game will be in Lodi Tomorrow….Deep breath….:/ Let’s do this!
