PROVERBS 20:9 Who can say, I have cleansed my heart; I am pure and free from sin? None of us is without sin, but we can receive Gods forgiveness through confession and repentance. An important step in recovery involves taking a moral inventory of our life, which is a big job! Many of our sins were committed unconsciously and will require real soul-searching to uncover. Since we have such a strong tendency to sin, we will need to take several inventories. We can bed sure, however, that each time we confess our sins to God, he will b e faithful in forgiving us.
