Hello Noctes, hello Tirapians, so, finally, at long last, the first Nocte short feature film titled Atei Awa Damaan Ko.... Following The Footsteps of Our Ancestors is ready for release. Its slated to be released in the second week of January15 simultaneously at Itanagar, Khonsa and Deomali. Please wish us luck. I am eternally indebted to my Producer, my young friend Changang Bangyang for helping me in producing the first Nocte film. When I told him about the project, Changang said [in his words] Sir, if its for the good cause our Nocte community and our Tirap district, I am always ready to contribute my service. Thank you Changang for your spirit and your love for our community. As is the wont of our Noctes, most of the big shots response was lukewarm and their lackadaisical attitude towards such useful venture tells the entire story. Interestingly, I received some generous help from some of my friends belonging to other tribes. Guys, my cast and crew had worked really hard and I sincerely hope that the film will be loved by the viewers. Its on real people and real situations. I have dramatized only a few scenes for a better visual effect.....Thank you.
