PSA #632: If you dont want an honest opinion, dont ask for it. If opinions expressed are not what you wanted to hear, that doesnt make them negative it makes them honest. Being supportive of someone doesnt mean blowing sunshine up their ass--only the people that truly give a shit will have the balls to tell you the truth, if you cant handle that honesty, thats your bad not theirs. Grow some stones. The world isnt hearts and flowers. There is good and bad in all things and in all people. No one is going to agree with everything that you do, but that doesnt make it ok to say screw the world; there has to be balance in all things. People are not disposable. Neither is love. There are at least three sides to every story. If you make judgments based hearsay and you dont take the time to find the truth, you are part of the problem. Take responsibility for your actions, IE own your behavior. No one MAKES you behave the way that you behave. You chose who you are every minute of every day. And finally, dont be surprised when people react to your behavior, bad or good. If you treat people the way you want to be treated, they will generally behave in kind--thus you reap what you sew. If they do not, well that is on them, not you. You cant control others, you can only control yourself, and every stone thrown creates a ripple. *disclaimer--this status is not directed at anyone, so get over yourself, if you think it is. It is my observations of the world around me, as well as several world events, of the last few weeks.
