PSA DO NOT switch to uverse with AT&T!! We have had a complete nightmare with our billing since the switch and it has caused lots of anger, extra money and loss of work trying to deal with it!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!!!! We use to have bundle billing which included cell phones, Internet and home phone all on one bill with DSL. The folks in the store talked Glenn into switching to uverse telling him we had no choice because our DSL service would no longer be available in our area. I still dont know if that is true. We paid our $400 bill on dec 24 just two days later we started getting separate bills for cell phone and uverse saying they were due upon receipt I was like I just paid that 2 days ago. After hours of dealing with the folks on the phone we were told we no longer get bundle billing and all those charges were due because they were changing our due dates and want us to pay ahead. So basically we paid around $800 in a 5 day period to keep our phone service connected. We still continued to get calls saying our bill was not paid so more time on the phone and we find out they didnt apply our payments they said they were just floating out there but no worries they would be applied, this was 2 days ago. Today I go to call a client who wants to buy a house and guess what no cell phone service!!! WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you At&t for having your stuff all figured out because you have caused us a royal pain in the ASS!!!!! I am now on hold AGAIN so they can see what the problem is. It seems the biggest problem is there are NO NOTES on our account from ALL of our time we have spent on the phone and in the store. The poor representative taking care of me keeps having to call multiple people because they cant figure out who has the payment. I had to apologize to him for my frustration because I know its not his fault but DANG THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD!!!!! So dont switch folks unless you can afford to pay two months and $200 in installation fees. I do want to say that on one of our trips to the store they were suppose to send a $200 credit card we never received it so on another call inquiring about the bill we asked where our credit was they said they have no notes of that but will send one. Goodness!!!! Grrrrr
