PSA FROM THE COLLEGE OFFICE: By now, all of you should have signed up and activated your parchment account. This is how your transcript will be sent to colleges. Once you have your account you must add your College Office Counselor. Once you have done that on the top of the page there is a green button titled send transcript. click that. click the box that says send to an academic institution then search the school name in the bar below. EVERY SCHOOL YOU ARE APPLYING TO ON THE COMMON APP IS COVERED BY TYPING IN COMMON APP. This is a fee of $5 for all of your common app schools. For any other schools (this includes sunys) you must use the school name. DO NOT ADD A CUNY SCHOOL, THEY CAN ACCESS YOUR TRANSCRIPT THROUGH YOUR OSIS. You must pay for your transcripts to be sent before the college office will process them. DO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, or the ladies in the college office will not have enough time to process your request. Also, make sure you add your counselor to your common app.
