PSA for PR people ... I dont know about other writers, but I hate getting news releases in PDFs. Either embed the release in the email or attach a word doc or both. With those, I can cut and paste your info. Its quicker for me. Several reasons: the formatting is not all jacked up, I dont have to rewrite what youve already typed, the odds of me adding a typo go up if I have to retype everything, and if Im in a time crunch and your deal requires more time on my part, it goes to the bottom of my deals and may live there for a while. Please help a busy reporter out.
