PSALM 118:8 Today, some people suffer from a sense of inferiority and helplessness in the face of an overwhelming problem. While many react according to the situation at hand, and dance to the tune of pessimism of people around them,or allow the challenges confronting them to consume them.Hence, they fail woefully because the did not react in accordance to the WORD of God as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11-12. By and large, many that react according to the WORD of God,as it written in Romans 8:32,performed brilliantly well, and become celebrated,1 Samuel 18:1-7. Yes it is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man, woman or princes where there is no help,Psalm 146:3.Whereas our only help comes from God of Heaven,Psalm 121:2;John 3:27.This made David,1 Samuel 17:32-51,a minor, and very insignificant person in the sight of Goliath,1 Samuel 17:43-44,had confidence in God,that is greater than any of the powerful people around him.Became courageous and was able to bring down the head of Goliath,1 Samuel 17:51.David acted with courage because he knew, based on his daily experiences with Gods safety principles,1 Samuel 17:32-36,that the battle is the LORDs,1 Samuel 17:47,and more importantly,it is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in the ability of man or those in authority. Having faith in the ability of God to deliver us from all earthly circumstances matters a lot,Ephesians 3:20.With faith in God,and in CHRIST JESUS,John 14:1,we have courage to forge ahead without looking back,to confront any helplessness of life. On the long run,by our faith,we become an over-comer,1 John 5:4-5. Conclusively,to over come the world and all its challenges full of tribulations and commotions we need CHRIST JESUS,the Prince of Peace,John 16:33.In other words,we must believe that CHRIST JESUS is the son of God,receive in Him,and allow Him to reign in our hearts,Revelation 3:20.
