PSALMS AND PROVERBS FOR WOMEN AND MEN HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOU DAY 338 Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus-the great shepherd of the sheep-with the blood of the everlasting covenant, equip you with all that is good to do His will. Hebrews 13:20-21 God has a plan for your life. He understands that plan as thoroughly and completely He knows you. And , if you seek Gods will earnestly and prayerfully, He will make His plan known to you in His own time and in His own way. If you sincerely seek to live in accordance with Gods will for your life, you will live in accordance with His commandments. You will study Gods Word, and you will be watchful for His signs. Sometimes, Gods plans seem unmistakably clear to you. But other times, He may lead you through the wilderness before He directs you to the Promised Land. So be patient and keep seeking His will for your life.When you do, youll be amazed at the marvelous things that an all-powerful, all-knowing God can do. Deuteronomy 31:8 The dictionary defines addiction as The compulsive need for a habit-forming substance; the condition of being habitually and compulsively occupied with something. That definition is accurate, but incomplete. For Christians, addiction has an additional meaning: it means compulsively worshiping something other than God. Unless youre living on a deserted island, you know people who are full blown addicts-probably lots of people. If you, or someone you love, is suffering from the blight of addiction, remember this: Help is available. And if youre one of those fortunate people who has never experimented with addictive substances, congratulation. You have just spared yourself a lifetime of headaches and heartaches.
