PSCP Feedback 13 November 2014 Dear PSCP Members YES, WE ARE GETTING THERE !!! As soon as we receive confirmation on the section 21 registration all residents and businesses that have contributed towards the project will become members of the PSCP Section 21 Company. The board members are as follows: · John Berry (CPF) CHAIRMAN · Riad Davids (PRPA) TREASURER · Peter Anders (PNW) COMMUNICATION & MARKETING · Brian Watkyns (Ward Councillor) MEMBERSHIP & EVENTS · Patrick Pillay (Pinewatch) TECHNICAL ADVISER · Elaine Gibb (Secretary) We have collected an impressive R850 920. 26 as of the 13.11.2014! A big thank you to each and every one who has made a contribution towards the project thus far. I have put a brief summary together as to progress to date. (As of last week, I have taken on the portfolio for communication and marketing, which is a new challenge for me and need some time to get my ducks in a row.) 1. Contributions of R1480 by residents to date (321 paid). Total R475 080.00 2. Contributions of R185 EFT by residents to date (351 paid) This figure fluctuates due to none or late payment and by extrapolation we have approximately 70 residents that will complete the scheduled eight payments. Total Collected thus far R64 935.00. Please note that some residents contribute more on the monthly EFT. 3. Contributions of R241 533.70 have been received from debit order. Please note the some residents contribute more and some less on the debit order. 261 residents are making contributions. 4. Donations received from residents thus far R8520. 56 (56 paid). Donations made range from R50 to R1000, we thank everyone who has so kindly donated - its not about the amount its about making a contribution. 5. Contributions from business thus far R61 050.00 As you can see from the above 708 residents have made contributions to the project thus far and we have approximately 5500 residential household in Pinelands, what about the other 4792? With the festive season fast approaching we would like to reach our target of 1000 residents before Christmas, which means we need another 292 residents to make a contribution. I am aware of a number of residents who are waiting for the final registration of the Section 21 Company which is in its final phase after a slow start. Please get on board so that we can get the project up and running come March 2015 (which gives us 4 months, of which two are holiday months, to make this project a reality). We are hoping to break ground early February 2015 which is just around the corner. Please note this is only a summary of what has been collected and not a balance sheet, our Accountant Chris Brinkworth a Pinelands residents will do the necessary. The camera project not only benefits the residents, but customers and people that work in Pinelands alike. Help us to create a safer and better Pinelands for all who live and work here. The once off contribution is R1 480 alternatively you can make a monthly EFT or Debit Order of R185 to the PSCP, however, any contribution, regardless of value, is hugely appreciated!
