PSE&G North East Grid Electric Transmission Reliability Project Traffic Advisory for the WEEK OF SATURDAY, AUGUST 17TH - AUGUST 24 The following traffic advisory is for the entire week of Saturday, August 17 – August 24, 2013 Inquiries should be directed to arthur.ondish@pseg or call 1-877-678-5784 Eastern Route Tomorrow, Saturday, August 17, 2013, a PSE&G crew will be working at the intersection of Monmouth and Grand Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Grand Street. Tomorrow and all through next week, Monmouth, between Grand and Bright will be closed during working hours. Western Route Beginning next week, PSE&G crews will excavate test pits on: Kennedy Boulevard & Newark Avenue Kennedy Boulevard. & Van Winkle; and, weather permitting, at Tonnelle & Van Winkle This construction is being done to support the PSE&G North East Grid (NE Grid) Electric Transmission Reliability Project. This segment is part of an 18.5 mile underground electric transmission circuit, pseg/family/pseandg/powerline/reliability_projects/northeast/index.jsp. If possible, motorists are asked to find alternate routes and avoid this area, especially during times of peak traffic volume. PSE&G reminds motorists to slow down and be alert when driving near the construction zone.
