PTA General Membership Meeting Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Library Come join your PTA Board of Directors for our first General Membership Board meeting. We promise this is not a typical boring meeting! Special Speakers: - Eva Gonzales Abad, Director, Center for Spanish Studies for the UW - will guide us through our childs K-12 journey for their Spanish Immersion school experience. Eva will explain what the International Spanish Academy is all about and the benefits of continuing through 12th grade. - Noah Z. and Alexandra S. - Puesta del Sol graduates from Newport High School will answer questions about their experience. Agenda topics are as follows: - Meet the Board & Amity Interns & Spanish Aide - Review and amend final Budget - Review and approve Standing Rules and Standard of Conduct - Principal Message - Walkathon and Auction Updates - Getting dads involved - DOGS - Learn about upcoming events this year Food and coffee will be served!
