We have received some great suggestions and are offering one last chance to make a suggestion and volunteer to be on the committee that will sort, research and select the projects to be completed. Last year the Box Tops for Education program raised over $1100 for Lilja. Look for the pink Box Top on brands like Betty Crocker, General Mills, Green Giant, Land O Lakes, Mott’s, Nature Valley, Old El Paso, Pillsbury, Progresso, Yoplait, Avery, Boise, Hanes, Hefty, Scott and Ziploc. Clip along the dotted line, then glue or tape unexpired Box Tops onto a collection sheet (found in the Virtual Backpack or at btfe). Note your child’s classroom code and send them in their school folder. The classroom that earns the most Box Tops by October 17 will win a special treat! In order to count for the Classroom Contest, Box Tops must be attached to a collection sheet and cannot be expired. Information about the Box Tops for Education program can be found at boxtops4education •Lilja also participates in the Labels for Education program. Collect the UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from participating brands like Campbell’s, Dannon, Emerald, Pace, Pepperidge Farm, Post, Pop Secret, Prego, Spaghettio’s, Swanson, V8, Wolfgang Puck, BIC, and Glad. Clip on the dotted •line and help Lilja earn points for educational merchandise. Labels for Education can be submitted in envelopes or bags in your childs folder, or can be fed to the Lilja lion in the school lobby.
