PTA is looking for talented children to design our Chinese New Year poster. Eligibility: Open to all current Chinese School of San Marino students Theme: Create a poster to advertise and invite people to the school’s Chinese New Year carnival on Saturday, January 25, 2014, 9am-12N at Huntington Middle School lunch court. Poster should be on 11x17” hardcopy. Entry should include name, Chinese class level, and age on the back of the poster. Please do not use any copyrighted or trademarked materials. Award Categories: First Place: Poster will be used for publicity for the 2014 carnival plus $50 cash and a certificate for the award. Second Place: $30 cash and a certificate for the award. Third Place: $20 cash and a certificate for the award. All winners will be notified by November 9, 2013 and all awards will be presented at the carnival ceremony. Deadline: You can turn in your poster on November 2, 2013 at Huntington Middle School cafeteria before 12N. All entries will be judged by PTA representatives who don’t have participating children and Michelle Niellose, professional artistic liaison.
