PTI FATA Chapter leader Dost Mohammad Mehsud has made an appeal to COAS General Raheel Sharif to lift the lift the blockade of the Razmak-Miranshah and Makin -Jandola Roads in order to allow nearly 50,000(Fifty Thousands)Mehsud Tribesmen to shift to safer places as they got trapped in the Shaktoi Valley as the consequence of the Operation Zarbe Azab against the militants in North Waziristan.Shaktoi Valley is located at the junction of North and South Waziristan agencies .He lamented the fact that the valley is completely cut off from the outside world and great humanitarian disaster is unfolding as the trapped people have run out of food commodities.The worst affectees are the children and pregnant women who are dying of malnutrition and lack of access to medical care and hospitals as all roads leading to Tank and Bannu are blockade.Shaktoi valley comprises Kruchkhel,Trikhtali,Sarkhaware,Samal and Bobar.He suggested that army check posts be established at all the exit points to register these 50,000 hapless people who are dying of hunger and undernourishment.He furthermore appealed to the COAS that Ration and medicines may be dropped through helicopters to the besieged people of Shaktio Valley in South Waziristan .
