PTL, uneventful night. She was intubated and fully sedated all - TopicsExpress

PTL, uneventful night. She was intubated and fully sedated all night. Rounds will happen in the next couple hours and they will have dozens of decisions to make today. We just chatted with her (amazing, love her) nurse and heard a LOT of info about where we may go from here. She is having a bedside bronch today around 9. Yesterday the surgeon comment how VERY bad her left lung is and he should have done this surgery a long time ago. Its going to be a pretty complicated process now to get that lung healthy, lots of decision to be made about how to do that. Continuing to pray for wisdom for these doctors. We trust God will guide them, as He alone knows whats best and is the great physician! Our hearts are full of joy & gratitude for all of the prayers and the way our faithful God chose to bring her through yesterday. We know the road ahead will not be easy, but we are clinging to His strength everyday (as ours is not enough) and we know this will soon be behind us. Every moment we walk through is not without purpose, we trust Gods plan & His timing. I love you, O Lord, my strength. (Psalm 18:1 ESV)
