PUBLIC ADVISORY Water Disruptions in Parts of Tamavua Area 17/03/14 The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers residing in parts of Tamavua that supply will be disrupted tonight Monday 17th March from 10pm to 5am, the morning of Tuesday 18th March 2014. This is due to necessary valve replacement works in the Flagstaff area which will be carried out by the Authority. The valve replacement program is part of essential works that the WAF is carrying out in the local area to maintain and improve our water network and ensure WAF customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh and reliable drinking water. The following areas are affected: - From Princess Road/Bureta Road junction to Princess Road/Votua Street junction including Narain Place, Howard Place, Ellis Place and McOwan Place. - Latter Day Saints Church - American Embassy - Vodafone Headquarters Customers are requested to store water during the disruption period to meet their immediate needs. Replacement works is expected to be completed by 3am. However normal supply may not be restored until 5am, Tuesday (18/03) morning. The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
