PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: I dont wish to freak any fine citizen of the world out or anything, or stop any of our rampant prejudice or hatred against each other ... but MEMES ARE NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE TRUTH OF ANY TOPIC. More than most arent even verified by anyone, presented facts are as skewed as any equivocal pamphlet or babble from someone who heard from someone else standard of authenticity, and mostly are a mere, shallow view of a topic that is not representative of any WHOLE PICTURE. Sure. We know this, right? So why are so many people predisposed to CHOOSE JUDGEMENT based on false, incorrect or even misunderstood claims from people you dont even know ... from a dubious piece of digital jpeg advertising? I just saw an example of this immediate hatred based on a meme post 5 minutes ago; Ill probably see it 5 minutes from now, forever, as long as I use technology. There truly are levels of CREDIBILITY VERIFICATION that you can go through yourself before you waste another moment being upset. I know this, because I taught it to my high school students for the last 14 years. And no, Im not perfect, Ive fallen for scams ... but after years of frequenting the internet, I do try to remind myself to look for all the signs of credibility before I whole-hog buy into anything; especially if its hate-speech. The possible solution: RESEARCH! Take some THINK TIME. Check the links; many of them wont even open if you put them into your address bar, many of them on websites allow the posters to receive royalties based on how many times people like us CLICK on their links, or youll find many originators are funded by the same groups who have a HISTORY of FALSE CLAIMS and regurgitating undocumented, biased, phony information. Not all, but sooooooo many! Just trying to help. Ignore this post if you wish. However, perhaps, encourage ourselves to attempt a little teeny bit of effort to not knee-jerk into an overreaction based on nothing substantiated. Take your time, my friends. We are emotional beings. The truth shall set us free, right?
