PUBLIC NOTICE Due to rehearsals in readiness for the official launch of the centenary celebrations for the City of Lusaka scheduled for July 16, 2013 motorists are hereby notified that part of independence road will be closed tomorrow from 09 hrs to 12hrs starting from Freedom Statue to Civic Centre. On Tuesday 16, 2013 part of Cairo road from Post Office through independence avenue up to Civic Centre will be briefly closed at 07hrs to facilitate the marchers to move from Post Office to Nakatindi Grounds where the rest of the activities will take place from. Motorists are therefore advised to use alternative routes during this period. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
