PUBLIC NOTICE: Everyone loves the swim platform @ Skaters Cabin! (maybe a little too much!!) The Parks and Recreation Dept. has decided to move the swim platform to the spit! The beach front at Skaters Cabin is reserved to those renting the cabin. Unfortunately we have experienced a great deal of conflict this summer because the general public is using the beach and swim platform during private rental periods. We understand ~ we love it too!! :) The spit will be a great alternative! It is an open beach front for anyone to use. We will place a port-o-potty, a fire ring and another picnic table at the spit to encourage the public to visit the lake from the spit. If you are interested in renting Skaters Cabin or using the beachfront please call in advance @ 424-7282.
