I have a university degree, and have been a responsible and hard working employee and tax payer for the past 5 years, while I pay back my HECS. Your government has now committed to slashing 16,000 public servant positions - and you have now decided should I get sacked, I will be ineligible for any newstart or government assistance for 6 months as I am under 30. If I do lose my job, which is quite likely - who will help me pay my mortgage? How do you expect young people to ever get a decent start in life with these kind of policies? What do you think?
