PULITZER PRIZE WINNER: 1971 Blair High School graduate Megan Marshall was in Pasadena this past Friday to sign copies of her Pulitzer Prize-winning biography, “Margaret Fuller: A New American Life,” at Vroman’s. The former Pasadena resident, now an Associate Professor at Emerson College in Boston, lived near the Allendale Branch and regularly frequented the library in her youth. Several current Allendale patrons planned to attend Marshall’s book signing at Vroman’s, and we look forward to hearing more details this week. She is now working on a biography of 20th century American poet and short-story writer Elizabeth Bishop.
